The Sports Performance Laboratory is equipped with the latest in research equipment such as our 50-m force platform system, the only one of its kind in the world. The facility can be used for a broad range of measurements for sports performance, e.g., measuring physical activity levels, and game analyses for not only individual sports such as track and field and tennis, but also for team sports such as baseball and soccer.Facility function

Motion Capture System
The Motion Capture System gathers digital data using the three-dimensional positioning of reflective markers. -
Movable Camera Mount
The camera mount can be moved to any location and height inside the arena. -
LED Display Screen
The large monitors can display both the measured data and video images captured with the cameras set up inside the arena. -
Ball Quality Measurement System
The Ball Quality Measurement System can be used to analyze the various motions of a struck ball, including the number of revolutions, speed, axis of rotation, direction of rotation, position of contact, trajectory, and point of drop. -
Object Tracking System
The object tracking system uses wireless technology to measure the position, velocity, heading direction of the body and heart rate of athletes in real time.
